What is a SALC Learning Community?
A SALC Learning Community is a group of learners who share common academic goals or interests, and meet regularly to learn with and from each other.

In a SALC Learning Community, learners…

• use a foreign language(s)
• contribute to others’ learning
• decide when and how to participate according to their learning needs and desires
• are open to other members joining
• have total control in the community organization
